[02.09.05] Hello there. These Hands played their last ever show at the Buffalo Bar on 20 August 2005, a little over 3 years after their first. Thank you Silver Rocket, Noisestar and everybody that came to this or any other show. The site will stick around as a record of sorts of some of the stuff we've done. New pictures and mp3s are soon to go up. And maybe, if we're truly flash, some video. We've also got a new pop CD ready. If you'd like a copy, looky here. Each comes in painstakingly hand-crafted packaging. Meantime, keep watchful eyes on the beagle's doings and the future escapades of the lone pilot.

[05.04.05] Andrew has left us and gone to see what China looks like. We think he's coming back in June when we hope to play the Spitz. Keep this in mind.

[11.01.05] How were we supposed to know? I can't even remember what we were doing on the 03 November last year. Not listening to the radio. But who cares. These Hands were picked for an airing by John Peel and played posthumously. Check who we snuggled up against in the track listings archive. It only took us three months to hear about it.

[10.10.04] It's been so long we've forgotten what you all look like. But we're back after a summer of healing and asexual reproduction. These hands has grown from three to four. Andrew can now LEAP across the room holding only a microphone thanks to Doug. AND we have a show confirmed for Tuesday 16 November at the Bull & Gate. Much more coming as we scrabble to pull things together again.

[20.07.04] Very good news. The Silver Rocket Birthday CD is ready and These Hands figure. Silver Rocket is 50 (in months, of course) and the sweet people fittingly asked 50 of their favourite local (and not-so) bands to volunteer a track. This edifice of a CD will be available at Silver Rocket nights, through the Silver Rocket site and in some record shops from 6th August. KaitO, Part Chimp, Cove, Querrelle, Princess Headbutt, Ann Arbor, Hey Colossus .. friends old and new shoulder to shoulder. Check out the local scene. You got to have one. There's only 1000 of the blighters.

[04.07.04] Hey kids. We've had to cancel our next couple of shows. Andrew's sliced his hands. We'll be with you as soon as he gets it together. [11.06.04] We finally got one hundred CDs made of those tracks we recorded last summer. The CDs are gold. The tracks are quick silver. Nothing more than a simple set of instructions to get one.

[19.05.04] Long time no speakeasy. In these past months we've been writing songs, bickering terribly and enjoying the sleeping arrangements at All Tommorrow's Parties. But we're getting back to you.
